A 50-year-old man was detained by police at Parkdale under the Sky Rail tracks on Como Parade at approximately 3:40pm following reports he was armed. The suspect dropped to the ground but refused to comply with police directions, prompting officers to draw tasers before successfully handcuffing and searching him. Police confirmed no weapon was found during the search.
