The Lakers continued the road trip with a stop in the Motor City on Monday night as they faced off against the Detroit Pistons. And credit the Lakers for not folding when faced with a first-half double-digit deficit for turning things around in the second and even taking a brief fourth-quarter one-point lead. But the NBA's best team in the clutch came up short as they couldn't stop Daniss Jenkins (30 points) in the final possessions of the game, as the Lakers had their streak broken at nine with the first loss on the road trip with a 113-110 defeat in Detroit.
