Bret Weinstein is an American evolutionary biologist, podcaster, author, and former professor. He taught at The Evergreen State College from 2002 to 2017, where he gained national attention in 2017 for opposing a campus racial equity initiative, leading to protests, his resignation, and a settlement with the college. Now a prominent public intellectual often linked to the Intellectual Dark Web, he co-hosts the DarkHorse Podcast with his wife Heather Heying, applying evolutionary thinking to science, culture, politics, and current events.
