The war in the Middle East is now in its fourth week, and Iran reiterated that will respond to every attack it receives from the US and Israel, keeping the Strait of Hormuz totally closed. As a result, president Trump who had threatened to completely destroy Iran's energy system reversed course and announced in a message on his truce social network that he has ordered a delay of all attacks against Iranian oil facilities and power plants for five days. He also mentioned that he held very good and constructive talks with Iran aimed at a complete and total resolution of hostilities in the Middle East conversations that will continue during the next five days. In reaction to the talks between Iran and the United States, the price of oil recorded a significant drop. A barrel of crude fell by ten percent following the news after having reached a hundred and eighteen dollars per barrel. 

Brazil

And in Brazil, from COP fifteen, Lula criticized attacks on sovereignty worldwide. He stated that the UN Security Council has been negligent in the search of consensus solutions and denounced that a world without rules is an unsafe world where anyone could be the next victim.
