Erinne Budd, a seven-year-old from Melton in Leicestershire, passed away in June 2022 after a battle with a fast-growing, incurable brain tumor. Diagnosed fifteen months prior, Erinnes parents, Jenn and Chris, focused on creating lasting memories, taking her on holidays and allowing her to experience various activities. Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People provided crucial support, offering arts, crafts, hydrotherapy, music, and play areas that Erinne enjoyed. The hospice also supported the family during Erinnes final days at home, including special care after her passing. In honor of Erinne, who once raised £88 herself, her family is fundraising, with community efforts topping £4,000. On June 19th, Erinnes aunt Elisabeth will take on a wing walk fundraiser to support other families through Rainbows.
