Recovering the Form
Description
In this meditation, I guide you back to the foundational form of the practice.
These “recovering the form” episodes are a good place to begin if you are new, and an essential way to return and renew if you have been practising for some time. Like any skill, meditation deepens through repetition, and returning to the form helps to build steadiness and ease.
We begin by settling gently into posture, allowing the body to soften and the breath to move naturally. From there, awareness deepens through simple imagery, breathing as if through every part of the body, releasing tension, and resting more fully into the present moment.
As the practice unfolds, we are reminded that we are more than the body, more than our thoughts and emotions. We return to a deeper centre of awareness, resting in stillness, light and presence.
This meditation offers a moment of calm, whether you are pausing during the day or winding down before sleep, helping you return to the foundations of breath, awareness and inner steadiness.
