It is with a warm heart that I recommend Harvey Hancock for the position of my Personal Assistant. Mr Hancock has proven himself time and time again to be reliable, good-natured, and sharp of mind and wit. I believe he is more than suited to the role, and I trust him to represent my interests with care and discretion.

I ask that you receive this letter as formal notice of his appointment, and extend to Mr Harvey Hancock the same courtesies afforded to those who serve in good standing.
