Days of Our Lives spoilers divulge that detectives JJ Devereaux (Jack Junior) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) had a close call with Vivian Alamain's (Louise Sorel) henchman Klaus Mueller (Bassel Alzaro). Although Shawn manages to stop Klaus from shooting Liam Selao (Klaus's captive), JJ freezes in the crucial moment, endangering all three men. This marks a turning point for JJ, who appears to be on the brink of a downward spiral - a potential return to his previous struggles with substance abuse. 

DOOL spoilers reveal Shawn Brady survives his injuries. Still, the guilt JJ Devereaux carries, coupled with the repercussions of an internal police investigation, could lead him down a tragic path.
