Your words don’t just describe your life, they direct it. In Episode 4, we attack the everyday phrases that keep men stuck: excuse talk, victim talk, soft talk, and faithless self-talk. You’ll learn how language programs your mindset, your actions, and your standards, and how changing your mouth is the fastest lever to change your outcomes.

QOTD - Marcus Aurelius: “Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.”

COMMON WEAK MAN PHRASES:

  • “I am just tired.”
  • “That is just how I am.”
  • “I will try.”
  • “Maybe someday.”
  • “I cannot right now.”
  • “It is not a big deal.”
  • “Whatever.”

SOTD - Proverbs 18:21- “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”

Your words do three things every day:

  • They expose what is in your heart.
  • They shape what you believe is possible.
  • They set the temperature in your house and in your head.

"Your mouth is either forging you or filing you down."

TACTICAL APPLICATION:

  1. DESTROY YOUR WEAK WORDS
For 7 days, remove these from your mouth:
Try, kinda, maybe, hopefully, I guess, whatever, someday.
    Replace with:
I will, I will not, I choose, I decided, I am doing it.
  2. 1 SENTENCE CLARITY
When you speak, say it once, clean. Then stop.
If you keep talking, you are negotiating or performing.

FROM MOUTH TO MOVEMENT
Every time you make a statement, act on it the next chance you get
If your actions do not follow your words, your mouth becomes noise.

DANGEROUS FOCUS FOR THE WEEK:

Language Audit. Pick one arena: faith, fitness, marriage, work, fatherhood.

Your mission:

  • Catch one weak phrase every day.
  • Replace it with a stronger sentence.
  • Back it with one action that same day.

Nighttime debrief, three lines:

  • What did my mouth reveal today?
  • Where did I talk like a victim?
  • What did I do to match my words?

Change your words. Change your life!
