Visualising Your True Self (Step 2)

Visualising Your True Self (Step 2)

Episode 75 Published 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Description

In this meditation, we return to the visualisation practice of the true self, continuing with the second step in this unfolding series.

We begin by settling into stillness and becoming aware of the breath, allowing it to anchor us in the present moment. From here, the practice invites a gentle shift in perspective, helping us see ourselves more clearly within the wider context of life.

Meditation reminds us of something simple but profound: we are grounded beings. The word humility comes from humus, the earth, and this practice invites us to reconnect with that sense of groundedness and belonging.

As awareness deepens, we reflect on the interconnectedness of all life. Everything we receive has come to us through the gift of the earth, sustained by countless forms of life before us.

Through the breath, we begin to sense both the finiteness of our lives and the deeper presence that holds each moment. The practice becomes one of quiet recognition, gratitude and perspective.

This meditation offers a moment of calm, whether you are pausing during the day or winding down before sleep, helping you rest in awareness, connection and grounded presence.
