The Government has contacted the Competitions and Market Authority regarding fairness of fuel and fertiliser prices amid ongoing Middle East crisis and has launched a consultation looking at alternative sources.

A group of rural Labour MPs have raised concerns over poverty in the countryside and berry growers voice their fears over transport and labour costs as peak season looms.
