Episode Details

Today on Too Opinionated, we're joined by investigative journalist and intelligence insider Robert Eringer, the man personally chosen by Prince Albert II of Monaco to create the country's first-ever intelligence service.

Reporting directly to the Prince, Eringer built a global network connecting Monaco with agencies like the CIA, MI6, and numerous international intelligence services, operating at the highest levels of power, secrecy, and influence.

His experiences are detailed in his book:
📖 The Spymaster of Monte Carlo — a real-life account of building an intelligence agency from the ground up, navigating foreign spy networks, and confronting corruption at the highest levels.

But Eringer's story doesn't stop there.

He has also been deeply involved in investigating the Jeffrey Epstein network, including renewed scrutiny around Zorro Ranch in New Mexico—one of Epstein's most mysterious and least-examined properties.

As new information emerges and a state-backed investigation ("truth commission") begins, Eringer raises critical questions about:
🔍 What really happened at Zorro Ranch
⚖️ Why it avoided deeper investigation for so long
👁️ The powerful figures connected to Epstein's network

With nearly five decades in intelligence and investigative journalism, Eringer's career includes:
🕵️ Undercover reporting in Fleet Street
🌍 Foreign correspondence for The Toronto Star and The Toledo Blade
🎯 Work with FBI Counterintelligence in Moscow, Havana, and beyond
⚡ Infiltrating organizations like the Ku Klux Klan

This is a rare, inside look at the intersection of power, espionage, and real-world secrets.
