Mary shares a striking image of the scene from a painting at Glenstal Abbey, and a story from Father León’s talk at the Divine Mercy Conference about a monk who nearly drowns his student to teach him what it means to truly desire God. Together they reflect on Lent as a time to dig up the soil of the heart, so that the word of God can take root and bear fruit.
