Lt: Pavasario Vilniuje oras buvo švelnus.
En: The spring weather in Vilnius was mild.

Lt: Saulė šiltai apglėbė miestą, tanys botanikos sode kybojo dideli žiedai.
En: The sun warmly embraced the city, and large flowers hung in the botanical garden.

Lt: Vilniaus Policijos nuovada buvo įprasta judri.
En: The Vilnius Police station was usually busy.

Lt: Už lango švelnus vėjelis dvelkė žydinčiais vyšnių medžiais.
En: Outside the window, a gentle breeze carried the scent of blooming cherry trees.

Lt: Rūta stoviniavo prie durų, bandydama suvaldyti savo mintis.
En: Rūta was lingering at the door, trying to control her thoughts.

Lt: „Žinau, ką turiu padaryti,“ - ji mąstė.

Lt: Mindaugas, vidurinis brolis, jau sėdėjo ant kėdės ir ramiai laukė, tikėdamasis rasti sąžiningą išeitį.

En: "Let's try to help you find a solution."

Lt: “Žodžiai skambėjo vangiai.
En: The words sounded sluggish.

Lt: Pirma kalbėjo Rūta.
En: Rūta spoke first.

Lt: Ji buvo atvira ir norėjo supratimo tarp jų.
En: She was open and wanted understanding among them.

Lt: Tada kalbėjo Mindaugas: „Turime būti protingi, padalinkime paveldėjimą visiems po lygiai, su pagarba.
En: Then spoke Mindaugas: "We have to be smart, let's divide the inheritance equally, with respect."

Lt: “Bet Aistė negalėjo sulaikyti savo emocijų: „Niekas manęs neklausia!

Lt: “ - ji šūktelėjo.
En: she exclaimed.

Lt: „Jaučiuosi tarsi nesvarbi.
En: "I feel like I'm insignificant."

Lt: “Kambarį pripildė tylus susimąstymas.
En: The room filled with a silent contemplation.

Lt: Netikėta astingusi šiluma.
En: An unexpected warmth settled in.

Lt: Rūta jautėsi stovėjusi tarp dviejų pasaulių.
