Despite neighbors’ opposition, Plan Commission backs west side development
Published 1 month ago
Description
Concerned parents flooded public comment Monday evening, as Madison’s Plan Commission weighed a proposal to construct two mixed-use buildings next to a Montessori school on the city’s west side.
Construction would expose young children to sound and air pollution, opponents warned. And once the buildings are complete, they could block sunlight to the playground and expose the children to prying eyes.
