On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans(@JakeW_8) to the show to break down the Panthers 5-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. The Panthers brought back D Seth Jones to the lineup for the first time in over two months, and F Nolan Foote made his Panthers debut against his dad, Canucks Head Coach, Adam Foote. Panthers once again allowed the first goal of the game to Vancouver, and it was giving up to a player who had been on a 20-game goal drought in Elias Pettersson, where he also got a second one (both on the PP). Florida ended up cutting it two one, and that's where the defensive miscues happened on their inability to clear, and it happened when the Cats had a one goal deficit and Vancouver was able to bring it back to two. Florida kept chasing their tail, but left Sergei Bobrovsky to dry in his 800th game. Bobrovsky now has the record for the most games played by a Russian goaltender. Sam Bennett has tied a career high in points after his goal on the night as he has been a big contributor with multiple players out, but it was not enough for the Panthers to get a win on the night. The guys give their three stars of the game, when they knew the game was lost, and discuss the humbling feeling of the Panthers losing to the worst team in the NHL.
