Loving God,

There are moments

when life feels more than heavy—

when something within us

and among us

feels like it has come undone.

We see what has been broken,

what has been scattered,

what no longer seems able

to come back together.

And we wonder

if it’s too far gone.

But even here,

you are present.

Where we have been disconnected,

draw us back toward one another.

Where hope has faded,

Where we cannot see a way forward,

be our way.

Breathe into us again.

Fill us with your Spirit—

the breath of life

that restores,

heals,

and makes all things new.

And as you bring us back to life,

help us build one another up

and share your love.
