Dr. Simeon Hein is a sociologist, author, and researcher whose work explores the intersection of consciousness, science, and unexplained phenomena. He received his degree in sociology from Washington State University in 1992 and focuses his research on nonlinear methods, complexity theory, and the relationship between technology and society. Dr. Hein first began studying Remote Viewing in 1996 and has been actively involved in crop circle research ever since. Since 1997 he has taught Remote Viewing at the Mount Baldy Institute in Boulder, Colorado, helping students explore the potential of human consciousness and perception beyond traditional scientific boundaries.
Dr. Hein is the author of several influential books including Opening Minds: A Journey of Extraordinary Encounters, Crop Circles, and Resonance, Black Swan Ghosts: A Sociologist Encounters Witnesses to Unexplained Aerial Craft, Their Occupants, and Other Elements of the Multiverse, and Dark Matter Monsters: Cryptids, Ball Lightning, and the Science of Secret Lifeforms. His work investigates the connections between UFO encounters, cryptids, consciousness, and emerging scientific theories such as the Aharonov-Bohm Effect, which may help explain non-local communication and psi phenomena like remote viewing, telepathy, and precognition. Since the release of Opening Minds in 2002, Dr. Hein has appeared in more than 400 radio and television interviews, sharing his research with audiences around the world.
