In major politics news today, Canadian Opposition leader Pierre Poilievre announced a “new” auto strategy that is being touted as a solution to Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canada’s auto industry. The problem is, the idea has already been rejected.
Poilievre has been positioning himself as a sort of White House insider, capable of getting US-Canada trade deals our Prime Minister Mark Carney could not. In reality, anonymous White House officials and even members of his own Conservative caucus have very little respect for him, as displayed in a recent Politico article takedown of the Conservative leader… Let’s talk about it!
