Welcome back to Lexx Education everyone! We hope you're on the brink of a startling good week, and we're here to spur you on to greater things with a very good episode all about the perils of being a woman in Elizabethan England!

We make a startling revelation about being a woman in the 21st Century and then we move on to whether or not Elizabeth I was a unicorn or not. We talk property laws for Elizabethan women, we talk education. We look at being a normal woman and being a high society woman and discuss how either way you lived you were between a rock and a hard place in terms of female restriction.

We discuss the way Henry VIII had properly rocked the boat for even being a Queen, and then we get distracted by matchstick girls for a while.

Mostly though, we're on topic, focused and having a good time. And we have the lack of science to thank for that.
