Japanese Curry Bread Bakery Kanazawa Opens in London

Published 2 weeks, 6 days ago
Description

Two Japanese entrepreneurs, Ryota Hitomi and Takashi Mori, have opened the UKs first permanent Japanese curry bread bakery, Kanazawa, in Islington. Named after Takashis hometown, the bakery offers deep-fried curry bread, vegan options, and Japanese milk bread. Starting as a market stall, Kanazawa gained popularity and expanded to a pop-up before opening its doors in March. The bakerys crispy curry bread and soft doughnuts have been well-received, and they plan to return to the Coal Drops Yard market in April.
