Description
A young boy named Stephen Rice transitions from being a devoted breakfast food enthusiast to a lover of pasta. The story begins with Stephen's mother losing her job at a cereal factory, which leads the boy to participate in a television commercial for a new brand called Brick-a-Breck. During the filming process, Stephen becomes increasingly frustrated by the repetitive takes, demanding directors, and the physical toll of eating too much of the product. While his efforts eventually help his mother regain her employment at the reopened factory, the ordeal leaves him completely exhausted by cereal. The narrative concludes with Stephen shifting his obsession toward designing noodles, highlighting the fickle nature of childhood interests.
