Postgame Reaction from Kansas City: (2) Houston 73, (10) BYU 66
Description
BYU basketball's run in the 2026 Big 12 Tournament comes to a close after falling to the Houston Cougars, 73-66.
KSL Sports BYU Insider Mitch Harper shared his thoughts from Kansas City on the loss as the Cougars in blue now set their sights on the NCAA Tournament.
AJ Dybantsa set the Big 12 Tournament scoring record in the loss, passing Kevin Durant.
The downside was that BYU missed an opportunity to get a win over Houston, the only team that BYU has yet to defeat since joining the league.
