Over the course of a week, something strange began happening in their home. Light bulbs — eight or nine of them — burned out in rapid succession. Voltage was checked. Nothing unusual. Still, the feeling lingered that something was off.

Then one evening, while the family was out, their 22-year-old godson was home alone. Around midnight, he heard heavy footsteps — slow, deliberate — moving through the house. They stopped right outside the bathroom door. Then came two loud bangs on the wall.

He ran to the neighbor’s house, convinced someone had broken in. They searched the home. Doors locked. No intruder. No explanation.

And as the new year began, the family found themselves praying over every room — hoping whatever had escalated would stop.
