A fire broke out on a second-story apartment deck shortly after 4:30 a.m. on March 10, drawing a response from the Vancouver Fire Department and prompting residents to evacuate the building. Firefighters extinguished the balcony blaze and searched nearby apartments to make sure flames had not spread, while AMR crews evaluated and transported one adult with respiratory distress.
