Meet the Gratton Brothers from Tapawingo | George & Paul Psarras | Too Opinionated
Description
Today on Too Opinionated, we're joined by George and Paul Psarras, twin brothers and multi-talented performers who appear in the indie comedy Tapawingo.
The film stars Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) and Billy Zane, and has already been described as a spiritual cousin to Napoleon Dynamite thanks to its quirky humor and offbeat characters.
George and Paul play the eccentric Gratton Brothers, members of an unconventional mercenary security team assembled to protect a bullied teen. Their hilarious performances add to the film's uniquely absurd tone.
But Tapawingo is only part of their story.
π George Psarras is an actor and award-winning sound designer who has designed 50+ productions for San Jose's City Lights Theater Company, winning four Theatre Bay Area Awards. He has also appeared in television and voiced Officer Avel in Pixar's Onward.
π΅ Paul Psarras is a Grammy-nominated musician, arranger, and producer, trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, worked with the San Francisco Symphony, and received a Grammy nomination for the album Kingdoms of Castille.
Together, the Psarras twins bring their combined talents from theater, film, and music into their unforgettable roles in Tapawingo.
