In support of the Arizona Wildfire and Incident Management Academy, fire managers on the Bradshaw Ranger District of the Prescott National Forest will light several small demonstration fires (less than .25 acre in size) to be used as a part of the Wildland Fire Origin and Cause Determination course. Multiple small demonstration fires will be lit during favorable weather conditions the week of March 9, 2026. The demonstration fires will occur in the Schoolhouse Rd./Loba area and will be extinguished shortly after being lit. Smoke may be visible from multiple locations.
