Lt: Pavasaris atėjo į Kernavės senovines griuvėsių žemes.
En: Spring arrived in the ancient ruins of Kernavės.
Lt: Čia, tarp senovės laiko palikimų, Ruta vaikščiojo su savo margu užrašų bloknotu.
En: Here, among the relics of ancient times, Ruta walked with her colorful notebook.
Lt: Ji ieškojo ypatingo žiedo, pavasarį tik trumpai pražystančio.
En: She was searching for a special blossom that only blooms briefly in the spring.
Lt: Šalia jos žengė Darius.
En: Beside her walked Darius.
Lt: Jis visada buvo tam tikras svajotojas, mėgdavo juokinti ir linksmintis.
En: He was always somewhat of a dreamer, fond of making jokes and having fun.
Lt: Šį kartą Ruta kibus draugas labiau trikdė nei padėjo.

Lt: „Dariau, žinau tavo šmaikštumą, bet man reikia tavo akių.

Lt: Ar matai kur nors rausvą žiedą tarp visų šių žalių lapų?
En: Do you see a pink blossom anywhere among all these green leaves?"
Lt: “ - paprašė Ruta.
En: - asked Ruta.
Lt: Kernavės griuvėsiai, paslėpti po gausiais pavasario žiedais, priminė didžiulę senovės knygą.
En: The ruins of Kernavės, hidden beneath the abundant spring flowers, resembled a vast ancient book.
Lt: Čia oras buvo skaidrus ir gaivus, o akmeninės plytos - šimtmečių tylių liudininkės.
En: The air was clear and refreshing, and the stone bricks were silent witnesses of centuries.
Lt: Staiga Ruta sustojo.
En: Suddenly, Ruta stopped.
Lt: „Pala, man atrodo, kad ten!
En: "Wait, I think over there!"
Lt: “ - ji sušuko rodydama į tolimą kampelį tarp griuvėsių.

Lt: Darius, norėdamas pamatyti, pasivijo ją vienu didžiuliu šuoliu.
En: Eager to see it, Darius caught up to her with a giant leap.
Lt: Bet, deja, jis paslydo ir krito į purvą.
