Uk: Під ясним весняним небом язичницькі руїни стародавнього міста простягали свої кам'яні обійми до небес, значущими вартовими минулих епох.
En: Under the clear spring sky, the pagan ruins of the ancient city stretched their stone embraces to the heavens, as significant sentinels of past epochs.

Uk: Видовище було захоплюючим, примушуючи кожного подорожнього зупинитися і вдивлятися в мармурові обличчя, які шептали давно забуті історії.
En: The sight was captivating, making every traveler stop and stare at the marble faces that whispered long-forgotten stories.

Uk: Олег і Марія, два молодих мандрівника, прогулювались між кам'яними брилами.
En: Oleh and Maria, two young travelers, wandered among the stone blocks.

Uk: Олег, студент, захоплений історією, часто зупинявся, щоб увіковічнити побачене.
En: Oleh, a student passionate about history, often paused to capture what he saw.

En: But by chance, they found themselves amid a tourist excursion.

Uk: Гід, приємний пан з густими вусами, відімкнув своєрідний загальний ключ до минулого, яке оживало в його розповідях.
En: The guide, a pleasant man with thick mustaches, unlocked a shared key to the past, which came alive in his stories.

Uk: "Маріє, що ж ми робимо?" – турботливо прошепотів Олег, спостерігаючи, як група рушила вперед.
En: "Maria, what are we doing?" Oleh whispered concernedly, watching as the group moved ahead.

Uk: "Нам потрібно якось вислизнути, але..." Він наблизився до Марії, яка, зазвичай, у всьому знаходила раціональне рішення.
En: "We need to slip away somehow, but..." He moved closer to Maria, who usually found a rational solution for everything.

Uk: Марія здавалася занадто задумливою: "Тут багато людей, можемо загубитися між ними.
En: Maria seemed too pensive: "There are a lot of people here, we can get lost among them.

Uk: Давай спробуємо не привертати увагу," – відповіла вона.
En: Let's try not to attract attention," she replied.

Uk: Складно було знайти момент для втечі.
En: It was difficult to find a moment to escape.

Uk: Але ось нарешті, коли гід захоплено говорив про загадкові символи на древніх стінах, вони почали повільно віддалятися назад, ніби забули щось важливе на початку маршруту.
En: But finally, when the guide was passionately talking about mysterious symbols on ancient walls, they started to slowly retreat back, as if they had forgotten something important at the beginning of the route.

Uk: Але раптом гід обернувся і, побачивши їх рух, весело вигукнув: "Не хвилюйтеся, молоді люди! Встигнете все оглянути після нашої розповіді!"
En: But suddenly, the guide turned around, and seeing their movement, cheerfully exclaimed: "Don't worry, young people! You'll have time to see everything after our story!"

Uk: В пачці сміху і підморгуванні групи, їхня хитра спроба залишити екскурсію виявилася марною.
En: Amidst the laughter and winking of the group, their clever attempt to leave the excursion proved futile.
