Sophomore Ellen Zhang says she wants to see more students brought into politics because the campus area sees the most housing and health code violations as well as police calls of any district. She discusses her position on affordable housing, including the need for more options for renters to become homeowners and the need for more public-private partnerships. Her interest in politics was shaped by her immigrant parents and her love of talking to people in the community.
