215: Kara Halderman on Time Away From Instagram, Learning to Be a Leader, and Carnivore 'Til 4



Today I'm chatting with Kara Halderman, an NTP and NLP Master Practitioner who helps women step into confidence with their food and bodies. As a teen, Kara caught a caught a gnarly case of mono knocking her out for the whole school year, leaving behind chronic digestive, sinus, immune and hormonal issues. She was able to put symptoms into remission with a whole-foods, paleo-style diet and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and was inspired to help others along their journey doing the same. Now she mentors women using an NLP centered approach, and teaches other nutritionists how to incorporate NLP into their practices to accelerate their clients' results.

In this episode, Kara shares more about what she was up to in her time off of Instagram, how social media affects social skills, and learning to be a real friend. She talks about becoming a manager, important aspects of leadership, and learning responsibility We also talk about how she got rid of her inflammation, her experience with the carnivore diet, how she found food freedom, and more.
