Today I’m welcoming in the New Year (Happy 2019!) with a fun podcast episode wrapping up the last decade, joined by my friend Michelle Strand. Michelle is a Nutritional Therapy Consultant and producer of Women of Impact and Health Theory! Michelle has also previously been a guest on the show - you can hear her on episode 222 and episode 191.
In this episode, Michelle and I recap our trip to Maui, how we feel about the slow pace of Hawaii, and how we spent New Year’s Eve. We talk about our experiences in 2019 as well as how we’ve changed in the last decade, which overlapped with formative years for both of us. We discuss our most noteworthy experiences of the decade, what we want to leave behind in 2019 and bring into 2020, and how to get over self-doubt. We also chat about the changes in media, technology, and wellness over the last decade, where we expect health and wellness trends to head in the next few years, and what we think about Well + Good’s projected wellness trends.
