Alysa Liu, who won the gold in figure skating, had given up at one point. She was one of the youngest U.S. national champion at the age of 13, but by 16, she was burned out & decided to "retire." At age 18, she came back to skating, but everything had changed. It was now her choice and her dream instead of an expectation from others. She changed how she thought about skating, and it made all the difference. We talk about goals, drive, seeing the big picture, and enjoying the journey.
