Shannon’s sister adds violin to Nightswimming, Linda Hopper honors Lynn Blakey, and Vanessa Briscoe Hay snaps the line to Pylon. We discover cover-song surprises like Superman, revisit California Dreamin’s Barry McGuire take, and relive earworms from Garbage’s Only Happy When It Rains to the family rituals that music quietly builds.
