Sl: Na kmetiji, kjer se zrak meša z vonjem cvetočih divjih cvetov in na bližnjih hribih melodijami ptičjega petja, se brata in sestra zavedata, da je prihod pomladi že tu.
En: On the farm, where the air mingles with the scent of blooming wildflowers and the nearby hills echo with melodies of birdsong, a brother and sister become aware that the arrival of spring is already here.
Sl: Mateja in Žiga sta živela skupaj na kmetiji, kjer sta obdelovala polja in skrbela za živali.
En: Mateja and Žiga lived together on the farm, where they tended the fields and cared for the animals.

Sl: "Kaj pa so to za ene kokoši?
En: "What kind of chickens are these?"

Sl: Oddrsal je do vaške trgovine in povedal vselej sosedom, da ima na kmetiji modne kokoši, ki bodo postavile novo tradicijo.
