Former The Apprentice star Lubna Zaidi, host of  Candid with Lubna , joins Harry Cole to discuss how democracy in Great Britain has been turned on its head following a recent by-election (special election for our US friends) in Gorton and Denton. After the Green Party swept to victory, Harry and Lubna discuss the problem of 'family voting' and how some minority communities could have a 'sheep mentality' with a lack of independent thinking. But Zaidi argues this isn’t just about migrants. It’s about weak policies, complacency, and a national identity crisis. Despite billions spent on “cohesion,” integration is going backwards. Zaidi blames mass migration, low standards for citizenship, and too much pandering to multiculturalism. Translation services, interpreters, and “white flight” have created pockets where English is optional and British values are negotiable.
