If the conversations you have with a friend could be turned into art…what would that look like? Marna Brauner is Professor Emerita of Art and Design at the UW-Milwaukee. Hai Chi Jihn is a native of Taiwan, she earned her BA in Textile & Clothing Design in Taiwan and her MFA in Metalsmithing from UW-Milwaukee. Their exhibit entitled Curio, is currently on display in the James Watros Gallery. For decades, these two Milwaukee artists and longtime friends have been collaborating to create a works that invoke a cabinet of curiosities, showcasing their love of collecting, collaboration and eachother.
