Days of our Lives spoilers reveal the return of Alexanne Hopkins as Joy Wesley, potentially introducing a new baby to the mix. Joy, who was last seen leaving Salem pregnant with Alex Kiriakis's (Robert Scott Wilson) baby, lied about her condition to both Alex and his wife Stephanie (Abigail Klein). 

DOOL spoilers looks back at the show's history which reveals Joy was conceived as a savior sibling to save her sister Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) from leukemia. Joy's return, slated for April 24th, is expected to coincide with major drama as it falls during the May-Sweeps period. 

Spoilers for Days of our Lives indicate the timing suggests Joy should have a 5 to 7 month old baby, presumably Alex's. Alex, currently focused on Stephanie's kidnapping, could be in for a shock as he wants children, but Stephanie is unsure. Joy's return with a baby could escalate tensions and cause a significant shake-up in the newlyweds' lives.
