Tonight on WrestleChop I forced my friend Beau to watch WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, even though he is basically a new wrestling fan who does not follow WWE at all. The last time Beau watched wrestling was about one year almost twenty years ago, so this was essentially his first time watching modern WWE.
What happens when a non wrestling fan watches WWE today?
Beau reacts to everything from Logan Paul wrestling, the chaos of the Elimination Chamber, and the larger than life characters that make WWE what it is. One of the biggest surprises was his reaction to Danhausen, who completely confused him in the best possible way.
We also talk about why Beau thought the Women's Elimination Chamber match stood out more than the men's, how wrestlers like Asuka immediately felt like stars, and what modern wrestling looks like through the eyes of someone who is basically watching WWE for the first time.
Sometimes a new wrestling fan perspective reveals things longtime fans overlook.
Chop Nation, I want to hear from you. If you showed WWE to someone who had never watched wrestling before, what moment would you show them first? And how would you explain Danhausen to someone who has absolutely no idea what wrestling is?
