Sk: Na kopci, kde pramení jemný potôčik, stojí starý sirotinec.
En: On the hill, where a gentle stream springs, stands an old orphanage.

En: In its garden, the newly awakening flowers announce the approaching spring.

Sk: Marek, plný fantázie a energie, miloval tieto miesta.
En: Marek, full of imagination and energy, loved these places.

Sk: Mal zvláštny sen – jedného dňa stretnúť veľkonočného zajaca.
En: He had a special dream – to one day meet the Easter Bunny.

Sk: Vonku svietilo slnko.
En: Outside, the sun was shining.

Sk: Nad sirotincom už jarne štebotali vtáky.
En: Above the orphanage, the birds were already chirping in the spring air.

Sk: Marek tam postával, zamyslený nad tým, ako by splnil svoj sen.
En: Marek stood there, contemplating how he could fulfill his dream.

Sk: Náhle zahliadol v kroví niečo biele a pohyblivé.
En: Suddenly, he caught sight of something white and moving in the bushes.

Sk: "To je on!
En: "That's him!"

Sk: " zašepkal si sám pre seba, oči plápolajúce nadšením.
En: he whispered to himself, his eyes glowing with excitement.

En: He was sure it was the Easter Bunny and immediately tried to catch it.

En: He leaped into the bushes, but quickly realized that it wasn't that simple.

Sk: Kríky ho zakliesnili a Marek ostal uviaznutý medzi konármi.
En: The branches trapped him, and Marek was stuck among them.

Sk: Jana a Peter ho počuli vykríknuť, ale mysleli si, že videl len veveričku.
En: Jana and Peter heard him shout, but they thought he had just seen a squirrel.

En: Both laughed at his enthusiasm, but decided to help him.

Sk: „Nebraň sa, Marek,“ smiala sa Jana, kým ho oslobodzovali.
En: "Don't struggle, Marek," laughed Jana as they freed him.

Sk: Marek však mal stále svoj plán.
En: However, Marek still had his plan.

Sk: "Poďte, urobíme pascu!
En: "Come on, let's make a trap!"

Sk: " navrhol nadšene.
En: he suggested excitedly.

En: Jana and Peter couldn't resist his energy and joined him.

Sk: Spoločne zozbierali provizórne materiály – staré krabice, povraz, jablko ako návnadu a ešte Marekov klobúk na dotvorenie pasce.
En: Together they gathered makeshift materials – old boxes, rope, an apple as bait, and even Marek's hat to complete the trap.

Sk: S úzkym úsmevom pichli jablko na miesto a všetci traja zaliezli do odlahlého kúta, čakajúc na svoju korisť.
En: With a mischievous smile, they placed the apple in position and all three hid in a distant corner, waiting for their catch.

Sk: Netrvalo dlho a pasca sa aktivovala – niečím rozruchom v nej.
En: It wasn't long before the trap was triggered – by some commotion within it.

En: The children jumped up, ran to the trap, but instead of a bunny, they found Marek himself – with his hat on his head and everything around him scattered.
