On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan breaks down the second half of the whitetail rut and what he would be doing if he was still hunting.  He explains that now is the time to make a move if you haven't already and look for  unpressured nooks and crannies of your hunting property that deer might be hiding in. He also talks about how a different access route may be in order if you are bumping deer on the way to the treestand. But, changing your approach goes deeper then just stand locations and access routes. It also means moving trail cameras that haven't produced the caliber of deer you are looking for as well as a quick scouting walk to look for the newest sign.
