VGK digs out of 3-1 hole to break losing streak with overtime win in Detroit

Episode 1336 Published 2 weeks ago
Description

The comeback win against Detroit could be a pivotal season-altering moment for VGK.  The team needed to rebuild accountability and potentially reset its identity at a critical juncture.  VGK rallied from a 3-1 deficit to win in overtime on a Tomas Hertl redemption goal.  He had committed two bad penalties including a tripping call with over two minutes left in regulation.  Mitch Marner helped fuel the comeback with a goal and a helper.  VGK returns home to T-Mobile on Friday.  For the Olympians, some have been away from Las Vegas for a month.  We have heard there have been conversations for a potential Adin Hill-Jordan Binnington goalie swap.  Both goalies make the same amount of money, but Hill's contract expires in 2031.  Binnington's contract ends next year.  Plus the latest trade activity in the Pacific.
