Yavapai Softball Sweeps Central Arizona in Home Opener
Description
The Yavapai Softball team came out strong this weekend during their Home Opener, where they were able to sweep Central Arizona and win all four of their contests! Game 1 In this close opening game, Yavapai defeated their ACCAC rival 3-2 with a walk-off double from Avree Rhodes at the bottom of the 7th inning! Besides Rhodes' double, Danica Kern and Tamryn Tucker were each able to tally an RBI as well. Pitchers Daisy Smith and Sofi Wagner-Stiles each had 3 strikeouts, with the latter doing that in just 2 innings. Sofia Romero's 4 fielding assists helped keep the Roughriders...
