Published 6 months ago
Description

We’re joined by two experienced producers who have worked at the highest levels of film and television — from major studio features to award-winning streaming series — and who are now building tools to help filmmakers work smarter.

Stephen Marinaccio is a veteran producer with over 35 years of experience across global feature films and television, and co-founder of Cinematic Apps. He has worked in over 30 countries and served in key production roles on projects including Ghosts of the Abyss with James Cameron, Netflix’s Marco Polo, Amazon’s Jack Ryan, and as interim VP of Production at Paramount. Stephen is also the creator of the r/FilmTVBudgeting community on Reddit, where producers share knowledge about budgeting and production strategy.

Matthew Cuny is a producer, Head of Production at Bix Pix Entertainment, and co-founder of Cinematic Apps. He has overseen more than $70 million in production budgets, including the Emmy, Annie, and BAFTA-winning series Tumble Leaf and the Emmy-nominated Shape Island. With 20 years of experience in both live-action and animation — and an early background in streaming technology — Matthew bridges traditional production expertise with modern digital innovation.
