For our RP2350 Bones boards, we might not use the built-in DC/DC converter on some variants—and it's not required! We could use an external 1.1V regulator, if it can source 200mA. This affects low-power usage, but that might not be important in some cases. If we can source a tiny regulator, this could shave a bit of space off.
