Fifty years ago this week, Sheriff Elvin Wedge, a Mason County Deputy and the county's jailer were killed in an explosion at the Mason County Courthouse. A memorial service was held on Monday to remember the lives lost from that day. Tom Susman was there and spoke with individuals who attended.
