Trevor Story has not yet made a decision about the Rockies qualifying offer, but Eduardo Rodriguez has made up his mind: he's joining the surging Detroit Tigers.
On this day in 1992, Colorado signed Andrés Galarraga to a one-year deal and the next day they assembled the rest of their club in the Expansion Draft. The Rockies won the day acquiring Vinny Castilla and Dante Bichette, as well as 12 total players that appeared in the 1995 postseason. Also, they would draft three catchers that went on to become managers.
