2026 March 02 - The Dusty Surrounding of Orion and the Pleiades

Published 5 days, 9 hours ago
Description

In today's image, we see the region of the sky around the constellations of Orion and Taurus. This is a prominent region of the winter sky and the long, 16-hour exposure, brings out much of the gas and dust that is present in this part of the sky.
