The January Producer Price Index was just released last Friday morning. Stephen Kates, CFP, a Bankrate Financial Analyst, says, "Producer prices in January came in hotter than expected, reinforcing concerns that inflation could reaccelerate in the first half of 2026. There is a risk that producers will attempt to pass along higher prices to consumers in order to recover costs from 2025 and offset anticipated increases in labor and service expenses this year." Stephen Kates joins Newell to talk about it.
