Iran conflict drives oil prices as global shipping enters crisis mode

The strikes on Iran and the wider regional conflict are driving up oil prices and throwing global shipping and freight operations into chaos.

The Iranian navy has warned cargo ships that the narrow Strait of Hormuz, that connects the Persian Gulf to the open sea, is closed.

At least three tankers have been damaged so far.
